Community Work

Professional artist-run workshops in schools

We are providing artist run workshops in schools to meet National Curriculum programmes of study requirements with extensive working artists offering innovative workshops for schools.

Operating mainly throughout London and the South East, we provide schools, colleges, museums and local authorities with an extensive register of professional artists who are willing and able to provide high-quality, 'hands on' workshops.

We specialise in tailoring workshops to suit individual requirements. We offer at all key stages the opportunity to work with some of the best artists from across your region, working in a wide range of artistic fields.

We are proud to have worked with:

Community work and collaborations

The arts have a particular role to play in the community, and Art Classes Group has delivered community projects and partnerships for more than 7 years.

Work experience

We offer programmes of internship and work experience in teaching and visual arts for young people. We have collaborated with local colleges and secondary schools.

For more information on how to get involved, please contact us.

Social cohesion

Art is a sense of communication. It allows people from different cultures and different times to communicate via images, sounds and stories.

We have delivered successful community projects and collaborations with local organisations: Slough Museum, Aik Saath, Meet and Mingle, Slough Borough Council, Home Slough.

If you want to deliver personalised art workshops for your organisation, group or community, please contact us.

Meeting diverse needs

Art has proven to be a successful form of treatment for special education students and kids with other behavioural, emotional or psychological issues. We facilitate art classes at our venue for groups of special needs.

We organise classes for groups of a minimum of 5 people. If you want to take part, please contact us.
